Medina: City of the Prophet

What is Medina?

MadinaThe second holiest site in Islam is Medina (or Medinah), the “City of the Prophet,” is in the Hejaz region of western Saudi Arabia. It was to Medina city that Muhammad fled when he was initially driven out of Mecca, and the place where he attracted his first followers. Medina currently has a population of about 600,000 people and is the home of “The Prophet’s Mosque.”

The long form of the Arabic name for Medina (Madinat Rasul Allah) means “City of the Prophet of Allah”, while the short form (al-Madina) just means “the City”. Muslims always add salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam (“peace be upon him”) after mentioning the Prophet Muhammad, so the full form of the name is commonly given as “Madinat Rasul Allah salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam.”

Medina is the second holy city of Islam, after Mecca. Its importance as a religious site derives from the presence there of the Masjid al Nabawi, the Mosque of the Prophet, which was built on the site of Muhammad’s home and is where he is buried. The first mosque of Islam is also located in Medinah and is known as Masjid al-Quba, the Quba Mosque.

History of Medina

In 622, Medina became the seat of Muhammad’s growing movement after the Hijra. In 622 Muhammad was invited to come and live in Yathrib (the old name of Medina) and act as a sort of governor.

Mecca: The Holiest City in Islam

What is Mecca?

MeccaMecca also transliterated as Makkah. The most sacred place in Islam is the Ka’ba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The Ka’ba is a mosque (built by Abraham according to Muslim tradition) built around a black stone. The Prophet Muhammad designated Mecca as the holy city of Islam and the direction (qibla) in which all Muslims should offer their prayers.

The Ka’ba is believed to be the first place that was created on earth and the place at which heavenly bliss and power touches the earth directly. Mecca is located in the Hijaz region of western Saudi Arabia. The city lies inland 73 kilometers east of Jiddah, in the narrow, sandy Valley of Abraham. The Holy City is 277 meters (909 feet) above sea level.

Each year, thousands of Muslims from around the world join in a pilgrimage to Mecca (the hajj), in fulfillment of one of the Five Pillars of Islam.

The Religious Significance of Mecca

The importance of Mecca for Muslims is inestimable. All Muslims, wherever they are on Earth, pray five times a day in the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca (located at 21° 25′ 24″ N and 39° 49′ 24″ E in DMS notation). The direction of prayer is known as the qibla. Continue reading

THINGS TO KNOW AND DO BEFORE YOU START BUILDING YOUR OWN PC

Hi guys, you are supposed to know these suggestions which can help you when you’re starting your PC. They are …
1. Make sure you have everything you need before you start,
2. RTFM (Read The Fine Manuals),
3. Download the latest driver,
4. Ground yourself before touching components,
Static electricity can damage components. You had better wear special antistatic wrist strap and similar devices before you touch any sensitive components.
5. Keep track of the screws and other small parts,
The goal is to have all of the small parts accounted for when you finish assembling the PC. Don’t miss your small tools…it can do damages on your PC.
6. Use force when necessary, but use it cautiously,
Sometimes, good advice need to be forced judiciously while you are assembling it as far as it goes. Although, many books tell you never to force anything. That happens in the building of a PC.
7. Check and recheck before you apply power,
this step is the most important of the whole project. You had never better underestimate and even ignore this step. Until you gain experience, it might take several minutes to verify that all is as it should be – all component secure, cables connected properly, no tools or other metal parts shorting anything out, and so on.
8. Start small for the first boot,
The moment of greatest danger comes when you power up the PC for the first time. The suggestion is to start with a minimum configuration – motherboard, processor, one memory stick, video, and one hard drive.Once you’re SATISFIED that all is well, you can add your another devices.
9. Leave the cover off until you’re sure everything works.
Experts build and test the PC completely before putting the lid back on and connecting the external cables. Novices build the PC, reassemble the case, reconnect all the cables, and then test it.

Staying in touch

On the phone

Put though – connect – hold (on) – call (back) – ring (back) – return (a call) – transfer

Tohir : Hello Brother, Can you put me through to your Manager, Mr. Umar? Tohir founder of Sharing Service is speaking.

Officer: Sure, Hold on… I’m sorry sir, I can’t connect you to him. He has meeting right now. I can transfer you to his assistant’s line for taking a massage?

Tohir : No, Thank you, maybe I’ll call you back. If I don’t ring you back, can you tell him to return my call?

Hi brother Faqih,

I got our photos that you attached to my e-mail when I logged on to my computer this morning. That was great at glance. I tried to download and save it in a hurry when our mom had me take her purse. Unfortunately, I clicked on wrong button. So, it was gone. I deleted it instead! I could do nothing that time. I tried to undo over and over, I searched for nothing. Could you send it again? I need very much because I want to print it out at once.
Many thanks

Tohir

Rules for designing a reliable system

Hello guys!
This session will tell you some advices to make your better system. I expect you get new information…
Have a nice reading!

These are a few simple rules for designing a reliable system:

  1. Use only top-quality parts. They don’t have to be fastest available. In fact, high performance parts often run hotter and are therefore less reliable than midrange ones.
  2. Use motherboard built around a reliable chipset and made by a top-notch manufacturer.
  3. Use a first-rate power supply.
  4. Use the best memory available.
  5. Avoid cheap cables.
  6. Keep the system cool and clean out the dust periodically.

Following above advice means the system will cost a bit more, but it will also be significantly more reliable.

Albert Einstein said, ‘Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.’

So, don’t oversimplify…

Advantages of building your own PC

This session, I’ll post article about the advantages of building PC by yourself. there are many benefits if you do it, this information may be able to stimulate you to assemble some great components you need…
check it out.

There are many incentives:
1. Lower cost
PC makers (manufacturers) producing amount get big price breaks because they buy components in huge volume. But they also need to pay for the components and the labor to assemble them. in other hand, they need to support such expensive operations as research and development departments, tool-free support numbers  and so on.
Therefore, they sell their product by high price. If you build your own PC, you will SAVE your money much more.

2. More choice
when you buy a PC, you will get a cookie-cutter computer. you can choose such options as a large HD, more memory, or a better display, BUT basically you get what the vendor decides to give you. You can’t obtain better specification. when you build a PC, you decide exactly what goes into it you want and need. Continue reading
